Judges rule in favour of FITs again

Court of Appeal

The Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC) was in London's Court of Appeal today (January 25).

In a unanimous decision three judges confirmed the Government's attempt to cut the Feed-In Tariffs (FITs) from December 12 were illegal.

Chris Huhne has already commented saying the DECC will take the fight straight to the supreme court. This comment has been met with further backlash from the Solar PV Industry, as it could mean another year of uncertainty and yet more taxpayers money wasted on a legal cause which is seemingly lost.
